Meeting the needs of the marketplace.
Throughout our history, Nonpareil has been an innovator. Initially we purchased only the best quality, premium potatoes grown around southeastern Idaho. In 1995, in order to meet the needs of our ever-expanding marketplace, we bought 10,000 acres of prime farmland near O’Neill Nebraska. We also constructed state-of-the-art production facilities there. In 2004, we added an additional 3,000 acres in southeastern Idaho. Our first harvest on this new land was in 2005 and the crop quality was excellent.
It all starts out in the field, where we evaluate new potato varieties and test new farming techniques. Once the potatoes are harvested, our innovative handling, sorting, and sizing techniques ensure that you receive only the highest-quality, premium, fresh potatoes. We still buy potatoes from outside sources, but we also pass on all that we have learned and insist that potatoes we purchase are grown and handled to our specification.

Today, we continue to seek opportunities for expansion and strategic partnerships, which allow us to meet the needs of the marketplace, and you…our customers. Our goal has always been, and continues to be, delivering fresh potatoes to your door in the same wholesome state in which they left the field. To achieve this, we focus on careful farming techniques, continuous process improvements, and gentle processing.
